Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park is the only Olympic legacy park in the world outside of a host city. It is a unique place-based project focused on delivering a better future for all through transformational health and wellbeing research, innovation and the development of applied technology.
The Park is rapidly becoming an exemplar for place based innovation, and is home to some of the UK’s leading health, sporting and research assets including the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre, the English Institute for Sport, Canon Medical Arena and more.
Challenge
To raise the profile of the Park and its leadership, particularly across the regional and life sciences and sporting media.
Solution
In under six months, we secured media coverage in business, life sciences and Olympic publications, providing a significant opportunity to reach and influence over 3 million online readers.
We placed a ‘Powerhouse Perspective’ insights article with leading B2B publication Insider Media, designed to position the Park’s Chief Executive as a major thought leader on devolution.
We secured coverage for an op-ed article on Paris 2024 and building a legacy in InsidetheGames, the leading Olympic media publication.
