MedTech Innovation Expo 2023

MedTech Innovation Expo is the UK’s leading event for medical device manufacturers and medical technology innovators, bringing together industry collaborators, researchers and start-up leaders to collaborate and share ideas & perspectives on challenges facing the sector. It is always a fantastic event in the MedTech calendar and not to be missed!

We ran a session on Investor Communications and took lots of excellent questions from the floor, before heading off to meet with journalists, regulatory consultants, MedTech startups and clients. It also provided an excellent opportunity for Tarleton’s newest employee, Leo, to get some CPD in through the talks and presentations held throughout the day - standouts being a fascinating talk on the role of health economics in communicating the financial and social impact of new technologies to the NHS and a pitch presentation on a device that helps to diagnose oesophageal cancer.

This presentation looked at how to build trust in noisy and regulated markets can help start-ups and spinouts seeking investment within the medical technology sector. Using client examples and drawing on our deep sector expertise, this gave attendees the theoretical justification, practical tools and real world examples to help them understand the value of investing in marketing and communications activity.

We understand the life sciences sector and help clients to improve the way they communicate and raise their profile with investor audiences. If you’re struggling to attract investment, or thinking strategically about your future raise, get in touch to find out how we can help.
